Geocache Description:

St Andrew's Church

Nobody is quite sure how old Clewer Church is. However it is known that the pillars and arches are Norman and the font is Saxon. This means that the font probably stood in an earlier wooden building. The churchyard's oldest graves have long been lost, their wooden markers and their sites have been reused over the years.

The above coordinates will take you to the grave of Owen, a local lad who died at sea.

Once there you will need:

The year of Owen's death 1A1B
Amount of letters in Owen's middle name. C
Amount of letters in the name of the ship. D
The grave next to Owen's contains William Harberd, he died in 18EF

The cache is NOT located within the church grounds but can be found a short walk away at:

N 51.29 (D-E) A (C-B)
W 000.37 F (A-C) D

The cache is a small click-lock container with space for travel bugs and swaps.
There is a First To Find prize of an appropriate walking stick mount.
