Une cache pour une chapelle bien cachée !
Trouvez à vous garer le long de la route, en face du panneau et du portillon (voir photo).
Suivez le sentier le long de la clôture et à une centaine de mètres, vous découvrirez une petite chapelle du XIIe siècle, bien protégée au moment de la création de cette cache par des orties d'environ 1,20m de haut. Pour ne pas éveiller l'attention, nous ne touchons à rien. Nos pantalons sont très efficaces contre les piqûres et nous revenons indemnes !!! ;-) Nous comprenons, en parlant avec un local, que cet endroit est entretenu : nous vous souhaitons de passer après l'entretien... Mais aucun problème si vous êtes bien équipés !
Cette chapelle romane (Chapelle St Jean-Baptiste) fut remaniée au XVIIIe siècle. Si vous avez la chance de la trouver ouverte, le panneau vous promet des peintures murales du XVIIIe et XVe siècle.
Sur la porte, vous pourrez voir la coquille Saint-Jacques, symbole du passage des pèlerins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.
Sur votre route, vous verrez un trou béant dans la montagne : une ancienne carrière. Vous verrez aussi le Château de Bezins (XIIIe siècle) qui, d'après Castillan d'Aspet, fut construit par les comtes de Comminges et occupé pendant les guerres albigeoises par les troupes levées par le roi, nommées "les Français". Bernard IV les aurait ensuite maintenues.

¡ Un caché para una capilla bien escondida!
Aparcarse a lo largo de la calle, frente al tablero y portillo (ver foto). Hay pocos sitios, pero hay...
Siga la senda a lo largo de la cerca y a una centena de metros, descubrirán una pequeña capilla del siglo XII, bien protegida en el momento de la creación de este caché por ortigas de unos 1,20m de altura. Para no llamar la atención, no tocamos a nada. ¡ Nuestros pantalones son muy eficaces contra las picaduras y volvemos indemnes! ;-) Comprendemos, hablando con un local, que este lugar es mantenido: les deseamos pasar después del mantenimiento... ¡Pero ningún problema si son bien equipados!
Esta capilla romance (Capilla St Jean-Baptiste) fue revisada en el siglo XVIII. Si tienen la suerte de encontrarla abierta, el tablero promete pinturas murales del siglo XVIII y XV.
Colgada la puerta, podrán ver la concha san-Jaime, símbolo del paso de los peregrinos de Santiago de Compostela.
Por el camino, verán un hoyo abierto en la montaña: una antigua carrera. Verán también el Castillo de Bezins (siglo XIII) que, según Castellan d' Aspet, fue construido por los condes de Comminges y ocupado durante las guerras albigenses por las tropas levantadas por el rey, nombradas " los Franceses ". Luego, Bernard IV luego las habría mantenido.

A cache for a well hidden chapel !
Find to park along the road in front of the panel and the gate (see photo).
Follow the path along the fence and about a hundred metres further, you will find a small chapel (twelfth century), well protected at the time of the creation of this cache by nettles about 1.20 m high. Not to arouse attention, we do not touch anything. Our trousers are very effective against bites and we return unscathed! ;-) We understand, after talking with a local, that this place is maintained: we wish you to come after the gardener... But no problem if you're well equipped!
The Romanesque chapel (St Jean Baptiste's) was restored in the eighteenth century. If you are lucky enough to find it open, the panel promises wall paintings of the eighteenth and fifteenth century.
On the door, you will see the scallop shell, the symbol of Saint James' Way to Santiago de Compostela.
Along the way, you will see a gaping hole in the mountain, an old quarry. You will also see Bezins Castle (XIII century) which, according to Castilla d'Aspet, was built by the Counts of Comminges and occupied during the Albigensian wars by the forces raised by the king, called "the French". Later, Bernard IV supposedly maintained them.
