Geocache Description:

***Attention FTFer's and Subsequent hunters***

There is only a small pen and a single piece of paper for a log with no baggie to put it in. If you intend to hunt for this cache please bring a small log book in a baggie. I would appriciate it. Thanks -FM

An incredible group of cachers made an epic hike in the pouring rain to get all of the caches along the Explorer Falls Trail and then on up to Echo Lake. While entering his logs for the finds along the trail one of our fellow hikers came up with the aptly named moniker "Soggy Sixteen" for our group.

After logging the first finds on the cache up at Echo Lake one member of our group suggested we take a different route back; a shortcut if you will, designed to cut about 2 miles off of our return trip. During that leg of our trip, as we were walking along the logging road, we spotted the tree pictured to the right a short distance into the woods. Everyone agreed that the spot needed a cache and I had just picked up a great container in the Echo Lake Cache that we had just found. We Scrambled around and came up with a pen and a piece of paper for the log. The Soggy Sixteen invite you to relive our journey and come out to find this cache.

Members of the Soggy Sixteen and Beta Loggers for this cache are:
7forHeaven, AndrewRJ, Brewermd, GrnXnahm, Gymrats1, LandRover, Lost Sparky, Shadow Boy, SKS and Wazzzzu. Other members of the Soggy Sixteen but not included in the beta are Moun10Bike and lucyandrickie.

The cache should not be hard to find in the place where it was hidden but it was overcast when it was placed and the tree cover was making for some spotty coords. Use the hint and post better coords if you get them.

The hike is long and can be strenuous so please plan accordingly, bring plenty of water and food and the 10 essentials needed for a hike in the wilderness. Cougars, Bears, and Coyotes have been spotted in the area and we encountered the skat of all three while making our trip so please be aware of that as well. Thanks for taking the time to come out to this great area to look for this cache!

Congratulations to Brockman7L for FTF!
