Geocache Description:

I set out to find some salamanders, and having recalled seeing some of them at one of the little ponds up here, I made this one the destination. I didn't see any. Maybe you'll have better luck. It's a beautiful hike and starting at a trailhead certainly helps the enjoyment factor increase. I had a fair amount of bushwacking to get to a trail, but once I made it the rest was fairly easy. I did depart a time or two from the trail as I'm not too familiar with all of the trails up here. Enjoy!
