This cache is hidden in the Eveline State Recreation Site off East End Road near McNeil Canyon. Parking area at the trail head. There is a nice 1 mile loop trail through the park overlooking the meadows and the glaciers across the bay. It is a fairly easy hike and there are some great sights, especially in the summer!
My aunt and uncle own a house in Fritz Creek here and mostly stay in the summer. I stayed with them this summer and we hiked through this park. There are some great views of the glaciers in the mountains across the bay and in the summer the park is full of beautiful wildflowers. The park is kind of hidden down a gravel road but it is well worth the visit for the park and this cache! Here I have hidden an old spice bottle wrapped in black Gorilla tape with some items inside, including: Starburst, Alaskan Amber Summer ale bottle cap, Labrador pin, Canadian quarter, a bee push pin, a $5 Harrah's casino coin, and of course log book and pencil. Feel free to to take an item from the cache, but please leave something in exchange. The cache was hidden in the summer, but it should be just as easy to find if not covered with a thin layer of snow. Cheers!
