Please keep in mind that the cache is located in the middle of the village, so there's Muggles more than enough. The cache is a pencil. It works well in winter.

6. srpna 1944 doslo na zdejsim uzemi k masakru, kdy bylo zavrazdeno 28 Poláku a 8 Cechu, obyvatel Zivotic, Horni a Dolni Suche a Dolniho Terlicka. Tato hruzna udalost byla bleskovou odplatou za prestrelku, k niz doslo o dva dny drive v zivoticke hospode mezi prislusniky gestapa a partyzany skupiny Kaminskeho. V prestrelce byli tri gestapaci zabiti a odveta na sebe nedala dlouho cekat – komando slozene z prislusniku gestapa, wehrmachtu a nemeckych cetniku behem nekolikahodinove akce zastrelilo kazdeho muze, ktery se nebyl schopen prokazat potvrzenim o priznani nemecke narodnosti. Zastreleni muzi nemeli s partyzanskou skupinou nic spolecneho. Na miste kde byli muzi zavrazdeni, dnes stoji kamenne pomnicky u cest, v zahradach domu, v lesich. Krajina je ted jina nez tehdy. Mnohe domky, u kterych byli muzi zavrazdeni, jiz nestoji. Nahrobky a pamatniky ale predavaji poselstvi dal, poselstvi o tom, kam až muze dojit touha po moci….
This cache is dedicated to the memory of victims of fascism.
A massacre has been caused in this area on 6th of August 1944, when 28 Poles and eight Czechs inhabitants of the cities Zivotice, Dolni and Horni Sucha and Dolni Terlicko were killed. The horrifying event was express revenge for a firefight, which has happened two days earlier in Zivotice pub between members of the Gestapo and the Guerrilla Group of Kaminsky. Three members of the Gestapo were killed in the shootout. The retaliation was on the way - squad consisting of members of the Gestapo, Wehrmacht and a German policemen during several hours action shots every man who wasn‘t able to proof German nationality without checking pertinence to the Guerrilla group. At the point where the men were murdered, now stands stone monuments at the rounds, in the gardens of houses and in the woods. The landscape is different now. Many of the houses where the men were murdered, does no longer exist. But the gravestones and memorials transmit the message further, the message of how far it may be a desire for power ....
