This cache takes you to the landfill site that holds waste from the Maukau region. Despite their good efforts at concealing the site, we should 'Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle' to minimise the amount of waste.
DO NOT ENTER THE SITE: The 'Danger' signs are there for a reason!
In order to find the cache, go to the posted coordinates, and look for a sign that warns you about water.
NOTE: if the sign is still missing, check for another identical one a little way along the road at 36°56'35.5"S 174°53'41.8"E
The final cache is at S36°56.ABC' E174°53.DEF'.
Reduce
Subtract the number of letters on the sign from 44 to get AB
Reuse
Use the number of letters in the middle line as C
Use the number of letters in the last line as D
Recycle
Process the rubbish by dividing the total number of letters by the number of vowels to get a Value and a Remainder. Use the Value as E and the Remainder as F.
This should take you for about 700m walk until you find where my daughter (5) hid the cache (a camouflaged 0.5ltr Sistema box). Can you seek better than a 5-year-old can hide? Good luck!
