Geocache Description:

SK: Gróf Ferdinand Majláth pochádzal zo siedmych detí grófa Juraja Majlátha a grófky Sarloty Zichy. Bolo to vo februári 1929 a gróf mal vtedy 38 rokov.

EN: Count Ferdinand Majláth came from the seven children of Count George Majláth and Countess Sarlota Zichy. He married Countess Hubert Szechenyi in 1926 and became the last count of Gbelany landlords. Returning to home from Vienna he suddenly died of a heart attack. It was in February 1929, when he was 38 years old.
Count Ferdinand Majláth had 2 daughters - Ferdinand and Charlotte, which owned the estate until 1945. The residence of Gbelany counts was a magnificent Baroque chateau from the mid-18th century, which is situated in the village Gbelany in the middle of the park, surrounded by a stone wall (now private property). After 1945, their property was transferred into state ownership - the Czechoslovak Republic.
Count Ferdinand Majláth is buried in a quiet place named Dielec – a little forest above the village Gbelany, where Majláth´s family wanted to build a family mausoleum. However, at the beginning of World War II, the family moved to Bratislava, then to Hungary and from there to Sweden.

SK: Kúsok pod grófovym hrobom je pekná vyhliadka. Vidiet Gbelany, Varín, hrad Strecno, Martinské hole, automobilku Kia a iné prírodné krásy :-).
EN: A few steps far from the Count's grave is a nice view. You can see Gbelany, Varín, Strecno Castle, car factory Kia and other natural wonders :-).

EN: The cache is about 800 m far from the parking point (15 minutes). You have to go through the meadow and then follow the path to forest.
