The 25 mile long M27 runs between Cadnam to the west of Southampton through to Portsmouth. The M27 was opened in sections starting in 1975 with the final section opening in 1983. It was thought that the M27 was originally planned to run the south coast between Penzance and Ramsgate. Extensions to it's current form were planned one being a continuation through to Chichester & additional minor motorways spurs but only the M271 & M275 were completed.
This is a quick cache & dash on Dodwell Lane a couple of hundred yards to east of the M27 junction 8.
Restriction free parking next to GZ on Dodwell lane on the asphalt access ways to the nearby fields - see the below photo or map.
Please ensure you leave the cache as you found it to prevent it being muggled.
