Geocache Description:

This is named after the Pub that once stood on Waddens Brook lane opposite to Ellards Drive. It was pulled down in the early 80’s and there now stands a couple of bungalows.

Our Dad was telling us that he used to go in the Greyhound Pub when he was a little younger than us with our Grandad. He said that he used to sit in the ‘out door’ and have a vimto whilst Grandad had a pint of beer before calling at the little wooden chip shop over the road for a pasty on the way home.
The cache is the second in our series and is hidden over the Nature Reserve that can be accessed via Waddens Brook Lane, Noose Lane and Fibbersley. You are looking for an Ammo Box! This is quite a large hide. It has quite a stiff lid so you will have to be quite strong to open it. You will find a FTF Certificate, log book, pens and pencil and a collection of swaps. This is plenty big enough for some decent swaps so please bring them along
