Geocache Description:

St. Prokulus

Built in the 7th century in commemoration of the Holy Prokulus - Bishop of Verona and later revered as a cattle patron saint and water - are the frescoes from this period (we write the before Carolingian era) to the most important artistic treasures in Central Europe. Also worth seeing are the Gothic frescoes from the 14th century, representing the story of creation.

St. Prokulus on the swing on the south wall of the church Prokulus - a symbolic representation of his flight over the city walls of Verona.

I wish you much fun at your stay.
