Geocache Description:

This is part of a series of caches set around the border of the parish of Northill, Bedfordshire

At each point where a road breaks through the boundary to enter the parish a cache has been placed. In the log book for each of these caches there is a piece of information which can be used to locate a bonus cache: The Interior.

Northill parish has two websites: one for the Parish Council and a Community Information Web Site. The parish is home to the Ickwell May Day festivities which have been taking place on the green in Ickwell since at least 1565.

The full list of caches in this series is below.

We hope you enjoy this series and get a feeling for the varied nature of this parish.

This cache is the most northerly of the series. Here we meet the A603 Bedford to Sandy road. If you hear a buzzing and look up you might see microlight aircraft around as there is a small airfield used by such craft nearby. It is not unknown for a microlight to find itself ditching in the fields around here!

PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN REPLACING CACHE TO ENSURE THAT IT IS NOT GOING TO GO SOMEWHERE IT SHOULDN'T!
