Many of us have done it ... a difficult puzzle cache is nearby that you don't have a clue how to solve.
Somehow you are supposed to know ancient Mayan scripts, and how to transcribe them into references to rare coins produced by the Klingons, and how the Klingons used morse code and EBCDIC to actually figure out there is no spoon. And then that ends up giving you information about what collectable Harry Potter trading card has the info you need.
It's just much easier to submit a bogus cache listing in an area you suspect the puzzle cache might be in, and play a game of battleship with the reviewer to see if you get any hits as you move your bogus cache listing.
Well now, you really have to play a game of battleship in order to get the coordinates of this cache. It's as simple as that - well, you have to do it in 50 moves or less which is easy.
