This is a genuine open invitation to everyone.
If you don’t know me then hopefully by the end of the weekend
you will!
There is no mandatory requirement to camp and
there will of course be a proper meet onsite to discuss Birthdays,
Camping and of course all things caching! We have a very active
local group and I’ll link this to our local event page.
The event is being held at the Rose and Crown
pub in the village of Ridgmont about ½ a mile from Woburn Safari
Park and Abbey.
This is a lovely village pub and they serve lunchtime food between
12 and 2.30pm. If you are staying, they also serve food between 6
and 9pm.
There is an intention that we will be placing 40 new caches in the
area which should be released shortly after the event.
The event itself is being held
at the above co-ordinates between 12 and 2pm on Saturday
24th September. We will be camping from Friday night
until Sunday lunchtime.
Camping costs are to be confirmed and depends
on numbers, however, the maximum costs
will be as follows. Please note, all
hook-ups are reserved.
BOOKING MUST BE DONE THROUGH AUTUMNTIGER OR
ME. WE ARE TRYING TO MANAGE NUMBERS. DO NOT CONTACT THE
ESTABLISHMENT DIRECTLY
Please can you state how many people will be staying and the number
of nights.
Motorhomes /
Caravans - £12.50 per night (irrespective of number of people)
Tents - £5 per adult per night. Children 5-18 £2.50. Under 5s
free.
This is a very reasonable campsite –
there are no additional costs for anything – extra cars,
dogs, awnings, pup tents and so on. There are the usual rules which
include – no ground fires, dogs must be on leads and so on.
Barbeques and Firepits are most
welcome.
If you don’t want to rough it, but still
attend, there are a couple of nearby hotels.
