From the previous Knoll, we're back on the trail, so just follow the path down through the trees. At a sharp bend, a drier route cuts the corner, then ahead is the knoll.
It's a pleasant spot with some nice boulders and a pathlet round the top. The knoll overlooks an interesting squelchy bog, which fortunately we don't have to go anywhere near!
Once the cache is sorted, it's time to head down the path again, turn R at the junction and back to the road. We hope you have enjoyed your trip beyond Gummer's How, far from the madding crowd, with great views and a variety of terrain.
