Welcome to the Stellenbosch River, one of the most special and beautiful places to us. Every moment shared here is a complete privilege. Trust you are able to soak up and enjoy as much of the tranquillity and beauty you can and that is the most important thing about all our caches in nature.
There are numerous way to get to the cache. The most recommended way is following the waypoints. Although we have never seen the gate for cars closed there is a sign that says it closes at 16:30. We are still trying to verify this and have seen it open at sunset each time still just be aware of it.
A lodge for weary TBs and GCs in the heart of the picturesque Cape Winelands. Book your trackables in here for a safe stay and/or help rested guests to continue their journey. If you follow the waypoints you will arrive at the cache hotel. Recommended After Sunrise and before sunset Everyday including weekends.
Please do not leave anything visible in the car and put everything in the boot or truck of car just for safety sake to be cautious.
Please treat the environment carefully looking after nature and the vegetation carefully. Before leaving you can walk down the slope a little and get a closer look at the river and hear the stunning sound of running water even more. Enjoy the Adventure, Tranquility and Nature.
