Geocache Description:

In one years time, on 11th August 2012, we are inviting the National and International Geocaching communities to come together, and experience the very best of the North West, at the 5th Annual UK Mega Event, being held at Cartmel Racecourse, Cumbria.

When :
Friday 12th August 2011 from 7:00pm.

Where :
Mascrat Manor – It is located at the M6 J21 southbound exit roundabout. It is a large family orientated pub offering a wide selection of drinks and meals. For the geo-kids, they have an outdoor play area and an indoor Wacky Warehouse.

Details :
The publication of any Mega Event on the www.geocaching.com website is always a major milestone for it’s organising committee. With just 365 days remaining, the North West Committee invite you to join them and Volunteer UK Reviewer Deceangi, partaking in the celebrations around “Pushing the Button” to publish OUR Mega-Event, and start the countdown clock to Cartmel running.

There will be a raffle in aid of the 5th Annual UK Mega Event, with an extra special first prize of being the person entrusted to press the actual button that publishes the Mega Event.

For those who were unable to meet us at the 4th UK Mega Event in Swansea , or our “A Taste of the North West” meet & greet event the next day, it is an ideal time to chat to the NW committee and ask us any questions you may have about our Mega Event.
