Geocache Description:

This cache is located by the Harrison Lift Station in the northwest corner of Eldridge Park. To get this cache you're going to need good balance, and no fear of heights. Not at all recommended for children. I obviously placed the cache where it is, so it is definitely possible to retrieve. However, geocachers must consider the risks when attempting difficult terrain caches. The four star terrain rating is set high for a reason, so please be extremely careful when hunting and retrieving this cache container. The terrain rating should be a hint of where you should be looking. The container is a small bison tube.

The lift station here at Harrison Street is one of six in the Elmhurst Stormwater Management System that discharges to Salt Creek. Each station handles surface water runoff from the impervious surfaces located within a boundary, or subwatershed, served by that station. The Harrison Lift Station serves 140 acres. Elmhurst receives an average of 18 inches of rain from May through September. Over 69 million gallons of water is collected and discharged to the creek by this lift station alone.

If your name is not on the log, your online log will be deleted.
