This cache
was hidden for Dutchlandian's "
I Scream for a "Dutch
Treat
"
event.
This cache, along with several others, has been placed on a 40 acre
site owned by Sugar Grove United Methodist Church.
Pastor Steve Good has kindly given permission for the placement of
these caches. While hunting the caches, please remember that
you are a guest on church property, and you should treat this
special place with respect. Please do not cache here at night, and
only park in the mowed lot east of the entrance. There is a
waypoint listed for parking. You may notice a mailbox near the
parking lot. There's a log book inside where you can write about
your wildlife sightings during your visit.
This is the future site of their new church,
and the land is open to the public.
Everyone is encouraged to explore the property, which includes a
creek, a wooded area, a native prairie, wildlife, a pavilion, park
benches and more. There is a prayer path that will basically
take you around the perimeter of the property. Along the
path, you'll find many interesting places to explore, as well as
several geocaches to track down. Family activities such as
picnics are encouraged.
Church events are held at this site at various times throughout the
summer months. Please be respectful if you visit during these
times.
Here's another title from the verse on a nearby prayer post.
Cubdad7 gets credit for setting up this clever little hide.
You'd realize just how clever it is if you were there when we
hid it. Please be sure the cache is secure when you rehide
it. You're looking for a small tube.
