A CACHE
Popularizada nos últimos anos, a bicicleta de montanha ou BTT, “invade” a serra de Sintra aos fins-de-semana, em particular, quando as condições meteorológicas colaboram, (também há os puros e duros que percorrem os caminhos de terra e lama faça chuva ou faça sol... mas não são tantos.)
Destes praticantes, os que se dedicam preferencialmente à variedade de descida, ou “downhill”, têm nesta zona bastantes pistas, algumas de elevado grau de dificuldade.
A cache encontra-se junta ao local onde uma dessas pistas (há mais), cruza o caminho do Power Trail. Tenham atenção ao fazê-la, à possível aproximação de ciclistas que podem vir a grande velocidade mas, se tiverem oportunidade, observem a sua passagem... vale a pena.
DOWNHILL
Popularized in recent years, mountain bike or MTB "invade" the Sintra Mountain at week-ends, especially when the weather cooperates, (there are also diehards who ride the dirty and muddy paths, rain or shine... but they are far fewer.)
Amongst these riders, those who dedicate themselves to the descent variety or "downhill", find in this area plenty of trails, some of a high difficulty degree.
The cache is close to the place where one of these trails (there are more), crosses the path of the Power Trail. Pay attention while looking for it, to the possible approach of cyclists who can arrive at great speed, but watch their passage if you have a chance... it’s worth it.
