This is a "Flash
Mob" Gathering of Geocachers.
Only 15 minutes long!
You MUST be present and add your log to the
Ammo-Can DURING this time to claim the event.
This event is part of the WWFM VIII - World Wide
Flash Mob coordinated events (see
growing bookmark list). Thousands of geocachers at dozens of
events all around the globe, gathering at the same
time.
Join us in Cheddar for a fast, fun event, featuring
YOU as a group of carol singers dressed in suitably festive
gear.
Afterwards we are planning to meet up in a nearby
pub, so keep an eye on this page (add it to your watchlist for an
announcement) for more details soon!
NOTE: Ground zero for the flash mob is in the small
picnic area opposite The Spirit Of
Christmas.
The Plan
The event will begin precisely at 6:00pm on
Saturday, June 4.
Suitably festive music playing and an Ammo-Box placed at ground
zero will signal the start of the event!!!
Prior to the start time, mosey and wander about non-challantly ...
Then when the Ammo-Box is set down ... converge on the Ground
Zero!
To log this event you will need to add your name to
a piece of paper and place it in the Ammo-Can during the 15 minutes
of the event.
There will be an event "meal", group photo, and raffle (drawn from
the names in the Ammo-Can) for the FTF prize.
Itinerary
17:50 - Mosey and wander about non-challantly
disguised as a muggle, preferably outside the picnic area.
18:00 - Quickly make your way to Ground Zero and get your festive
gear on.
18:00 - 18:15 - Log the event by placing a piece of paper with your
caching name on it in the Ammo-Can.
18:05 - Event "meal" distributed.
18:10 - Group photo and drawing of the raffle for FTF prize.
18:12 - Carol singing commences!!!
18:15 - The Ammo-Can will be closed and the event packed away.
Event area will be vacated without a trace.
19:00 - Meet up at the Riverside Inn to
discuss our Geocaching adventures.
