Geocache Description:

*** THIS CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES, IT IS HOWEVER IN THE AREA ***

You will need to solve a puzzle found in cache #10 to get the proper location. You are looking for a Ziploc container… Picnic tables are nearby and with that comes the possibility of a Muggle or two. The parking however is very close and the terrain very easy to walk. The park is closed after dark!

#11 of 11 PLEASE FOLLOW THE SERIES IN ORDER 1 - 11!

DUE TO A BIRD'S NEST IN THE ORIGINAL LOCATION, THE CACHE HAS BEEN MOVED SEVERAL FEET OVER. PLEASE READ LOGS BELOW. I WILL PLACE THE CACHE BACK IN IT'S ORIGINAL LOCATION AFTER THE BIRDS MOVE ON. THANK YOU!

LEARN ABOUT LOCAL HISTORY WHILE GEOCACHING!!! This is the Raupp Museum’s first ever Geocaching Series!!! This is a cache series that will lead the Geocacher around town highlighting our local park history. Some of these sites may go unnoticed to the average person until they have been made aware of them. To commemorate this series 200 geocoins have been created.

You must complete the all of the sites within the series (#1 through #11) in order to follow the series properly. Do not forget to log your finds! Remember, my goal is to have Geocachers learn a little about our town’s history.

The first to find all of the caches will receive a prize inside of cache #11, a FREE Buffalo Grove history geocoin! Only 200 have been made and will not be reissued after they are gone…

This park has two creeks……. What more could you want?

Do not forget to post photos of your adventure!

Congrats to scottberks for being the first to find!
