Barrels of Monkeys Traditional Cache

This cache is located in a fairly unique spot in that it’s a heavily wooded area bounded by two busy streets, a medical office building, and a highway. Once in the woods, you should be fairly muggle-free; stealth will be required, however, to get into the woods undetected. The cache has been placed with the permission of the owner.

You are looking for a 30 caliber ammo can containing, you guessed it, barrels of monkeys.

Log Barrel: Contains the log and pencil.

Swag Barrel: Contains toys/trinkets for exchange. It has initially been stocked with monkeys (of course).

Trackables Barrel: Designed and intended as a bug hotel for mid- to small-sized travel bugs, geocoins and other trackables. Bigger bugs are welcome too, but they’ll have to sleep outside the barrel. The Trackables Barrel is initially stocked with the following activated travel bugs which are starting their respective journeys with the placing of this cache (they are actually in a race):

      1. Maverickster (TB48CVG): Headed to Chino, California and back.

      2. NeNe (TB48CTC): Headed to San Francisco, California and back.

      3. Boom Boom (TB48CV1): Headed to Marco Island, Florida and back.

      4. Hop Hop (TB48CVB): Headed to Nashville, Tennessee and back.

If you take something from the Trackables Barrel, YOU MUST LOG IT properly as “retrieved” in your app or at the Trackables Section of the Geocaching Website, and please try to move it closer to its goal!
