Im Jahre 1949/50 wurden die Dörfer _________ und ________ im Oberen Vinschgau Opfer eines rücksichtslosen Stauprojektes. Die Geschichte dieser Seestauung liest sich fast wie ein Krimi - es ist aber die Geschichte einer Katastrophe.
Über 6 km lang ist der Reschensee; Mit seiner Wassermenge von 116 Millionen Kubikmetern erzeugt er rund 250 Millionen kWh Strom im Jahr. Eine stolze Leistung technischen Fortschritts? Der mitten aus dem Wasser ragende Kirchturm von ______ erinnert, gleichsam als stumme Anklage, daran, um welchen nie zu bezahlenden Preis hier "Fortschritt" erkauft wurde. Hier breitete sich einst eine blühende Landschaft aus, mit dem malerischen Dorf _____. Es war ein stattliches Dorf geworden, erfüllt vom Durchzugsverkehr zwischen Bozen und Landeck, mit breitgiebeligen Gasthäusern, so der "Adler (Warger) und die "Traube (Reinhartl) als Haltestelle für die Post. Wo nicht alte Fresken die Häuser schmückten, taten es die Erker und Stiegenaufgänge, überall aber die bunteste Blumenzier an den Fenstern, auf den Söllern. 163 Häuser in _____ und in ________ und 523 ha fruchtbarer Kulturboden fielen den Fluten zum Opfer. Über die Hälfte der 650 Bewohner von _____ mußten in die Fremde ziehen, rund 1000 Menschen waren von der Katastrophe betroffen,
120 bäuerliche Betriebe verloren ihre Daseinsgrundlage, die fast ausschließlich an die Viehzucht geknüpft war. Wir fragen uns heute: Wie konnte es nur zu diesem grausamen und willkürlichen Eingriff kommen? Gab es damals keine Möglichkeit, diese Katastrophe zu verhindern?

In 1949/50, the villages _________ and ________ in the Upper Vinschgau became victims of a ruthless jam project. The history of the construction of the dam reads almost like a thriller - but it is the story of a disaster.
The Reschensee is over 6 km long, with its water quantity of 116 million cubic meters, it produces about 250 million kWh of electricity per year.
A proud achievement of technological progress? The spire looming out of the middle of the water , as if in a silent accusation, recalls for which never to be paid back prize „progress“ was purchased here.
Once a flourishing landscape was spread out here, with the picturesque village of _____. It had become a handsome village, filled with the through traffic between Bolzano and Landeck, with wide-gabled inns, as the the "Adler (Wargo) and the Grape (Reinhartl) as a stop for the post.
Where old frescoes did not decorate the houses, the bay windows and staircases did, but everywhere the most colorful ornamental flowers at the windows and the upper chambers. 163 houses in _____ and in ________ and 523 ha of fertile topsoil fell victim to the floods. More than half of the 650 residents of _____ had to move to the outland, about 1,000 people were affected by the disaster.
120 farms lost their means of existence, which was linked almost exclusively to cattle breeding.Today we ask us: How could this cruel and arbitrary intrusion happen ? Was there no way to prevent this disaster?

Per oltre 6 km di Lago di Resia, con la sua quantità d'acqua di 116 milioni di metri cubi, produce circa 250 milioni di kWh di elettricità all'anno. Un risultato orgoglioso del progresso tecnologico? Il mezzo della guglia torreggianti di acqua ______ ricorda, come se accusa in silenzio, per ricordare mai qui quale prezzo da pagare "progresso" è stato acquistato. Qui, si sviluppa una volta un paesaggio florido, con il pittoresco villaggio di _____.
Era diventato un villaggio bello, dal traffico di transito tra Bolzano e Landeck, con trattorie ampio timpano sono rispettate, il "Adler (Wargo) e l'uva (pulito Hartl) come tappa per il posto. Se non antichi affreschi che decorano le case, ha le finestre a bovindo e le scale, ma tutti i fiori più colorati ornamentali alle finestre, la camera alta. 163 case in ________ _____ e di e 523 ettari di suolo fertile cadde vittima delle inondazioni. Più della metà dei 650 residenti di _____ costretto a trasferirsi allo straniero, circa 1.000 persone sono state colpite dal disastro.
120 aziende agricole hanno perso la esistenza di base, che era legato quasi esclusivamente al bestiame. Chiediamo oggi: Come potrebbe venire solo a questo trattamento crudele e arbitrario? Non c'era modo per prevenire questo disastro.
