This geocache used to be hidden on a nearby gate as a ’trail header’ to get from the car park to a series of night caches, and is still easier to find after dark.
However, I have moved it to this new location after learning what happened here in 1986.
Every Easter it is adorned with flowers and a card for the girl who made national headlines.
The story doesn't have a happy end.
