My objective here was to create a puzzle / mystery cache that is not too difficult as a means of encouraging those who have not yet attempted many of these type of caches. Solve this one and you will get a feel of what to look for in other puzzle / mystery caches.
The cache is located at a great spot for you to rest awhile, then to enjoy the surroundings, accompanied by the sounds of the local birdlife and the rippling stream. En-route to the cache you will need to pass through an unlocked gate, and then past a sign that indicates that visitors should exercise conservation type behaviour.
There is a story to the placement of this cache. The initial location was rejected by the local reviewer as it was too close to another unpublished cache. After a series of discussions with the other CO, it was apparent that neither of us could easily move our placements. So I went to find another spot. And, WOW - what a spot I found. The location of the cache is right up there with my favourite spots of all time. Do yourselves a favour, and when going to find this one, take a picnic basket with you. You won't be sorry. This spot is really NOT a cache and dash!
