Geocache Description:

Welcome to The Griffins Grizz, This is a challenging route which sees you walking along a variety of terrains and takes in some of the best views available in the Maidstone area.

There is parking available close to Number 1 but if not there is ample parking at different points around the route.

The route comprises 26 caches and a bonus at the end, over a distance of around 5 miles. The caches are Micro’s and small's with a couple of Regulars thrown in for the kiddie’s swaps and travel bugs. At the end of the walk there is a Bonus cache which can be found by collecting the clues from around the route.

PLEASE NOTE: This route has been placed with the kind permission of the Land Owners and the Kent Downs AONB Unit, who look after the land. Please do not go wandering off the prominent path as all the caches on the route are placed on the track or within 5m of the track.

Before undertaking this walk ensure you have a map of the area, ensure someone knows where you’re going, and that you are suitably equipped to undertake the walk as the terrain between No 1 and No 6 is rated as 5 star.
