This cache has been placed on the old railway route that ran from Rugby to Leicester; it was part of the Midland Counties line that opened on 1st July 1840. This line finally closed in 1962 but you can walk on many parts of the old line, for example Jubilee Walk in Leire .
This cache is part of a 3 mile route we have called ‘The Pirates path’. Generally takes about an 1 1/2 hours to complete. Can be muddy in places, so check your footwear. You can complete the route as a whole, or cache and dash at points along the route.
This cache is on a busy dog walking route so watch out for the Muggles! You’re looking for a micro cache.
