A Cache near the Site of Stavros Kallergis.
At the junction to Houmeri, You will find the house of STAVROS
KALLERGIS (1865 - 1926).
He was the pioneer and leader of the Greek socialism and organized
the first Labor Day in Greece on May 1, 1893.
A traditional Cretan village.
Houmeri has a friendly Greek taverna, two kafenions and a
confectionary kiosk all within a 10 minutes walk. Main shopping
requirements are catered for in Perema which is a 10 minute drive
away and has very amenity including banks, post office and a very
good health centre.
