Fisherman's Lookout Traditional Geocache
woollaston4: Sadly we decided to archive this cache. It has gone missing yet again and feel that perhaps it is being deliberately muggled to spoil other cachers enjoyment. The area has also become slightly unpleasant with dog mess. there is also the hazard of giant hogweed that seems to have gone haywire!! We checked the area to look for another location but it seems that there is quite a bit of lunchtime rubbish littered about making it a bit unpleasant :(

Along the calm River Mole this location seemed an ideal spot to place a cache. and the triangular shaped wooded island close by is a favourite spot for fishermen.
The footpath runs from Esher to Hersham and crosses the River Mole.
You are looking for a magnetic 35mm film canister which contains log sheet only, so please bring a pen or pencil with you. Please replace the cache exactly where you found it, thanks.
The location of the cache is a little exposed so a fair bit of stealth is required. You may need to wear long trousers in the summer to avoid nettles.
I HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT THERE IS WHAT LOOKS LIKE GIANT HOGWEED GROWING IN THE AREA OF THE CACHE WHICH CAN BE NASTY. PLEASE PROCEED WITH CARE.
If this proves a problem, then I will relocate the cache.
There may be fishermen in the area and also workers from a trading estate which is very close by.
