Izveidots 1968.gada, pieminot II Pasaules kara notikumus. Telnieki V.Albergs un Z.Zvara, arhitekts A.Senbergs.
Piemineklis simbolize Lacpleša un Melna Bruninieka cinu. Durkla smaile 3 trauksmes zvani aicina but modriem par savu zemi. Bralu kapos gulditi vairak ka 500 kritušo. Augusta pirmaja sestdiena joprojam tiek organizets mirušo atceres bridis bralu kapos.
ENG The Vietalva's brother's cementary momerial complex was created in 1968 to commemorate events in World war II by sculptors Z. Zvara and V.Albergs and teh architect A.Senbergs. The memorial symbolizes the battle between Lacplesis (the Latvian Hercules) and Black Knight. The three alarm bells on the Durkla spire are reminders to stay vigilant about our country.
More than 500 fallen soldiers are burried in the Brother's Cementary.
On the Saturday in August each year a memorial ceremony for the dead is still held at the Brother's Cementary.
