The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Map-of-Africa is an extraordinary view point at Wilderness Heights. Wilderness is situated approximately 15km from George, driving on the N2 highway towards Knysna. It is very likely that you will see paragliders just as you have passed the Kaaimans River Bridge.

The last stretch to the view point is gravel road, but well maintained.

The views on both sides are truly amazing. To the right is the Map-of-Africa view point and to the left is where the paragliders take-off into the skies.

Map-of-Africa is spectacular scenery of mountains and forests. It is mind boggling how Mother Nature has shaped this map image of Africa. The outline is the way the Kaaimans River flows.

Just as a note, the View Point is Wheelchair friendly but not the actual location where the cache is hidden.

This is a clear plastic container with a blue lid. Contents include a Logbook, Pencil and some trade items.

Please be carefull when retrieving the cache and ensure that it's well hidden again.
