Geocache Description:

This Challenge is modeled after a cache listing we saw in Minnesota by Grey Wolf and Wild Rice (GC2KG9X).

This cache is NOT at the listed Coordinates. Review the Final Waypoint.

You must successfully complete the Challenge prior to finding, signing log, and logging the final cache. Finds on this cache, which do not have documentation of completing the Challenge will be deleted.

In this challenge you must complete the activity in 5 of the boxes in a straight line. The line may be vertical, horizontal or diagonal. (Sorry no 4 corners for this challenge). Many cachers will have completed some of the squares, however it is a unique and experienced cacher that has very many of these.

Now you get to figure out what you already have, then you can decide what you don’t have which will allow you to complete your line of 5 squares. Maybe it will be something simple like hiding a different type of cache. But, it could involve finding the nearest 3000 ft elevation cache!

We have been to events where a similar grid was passed out and you had to find another cacher who has completed one of the squares, but no one person could sign more than one square on any given sheet. We would find ourselves trying to figure out the most difficult square we had completed the others at the event maybe couldn’t sign. We often would quickly make a mark on all the ones we could use on our own sheet to aid finding how to help others with theirs.

You will find many of these are the requirements for the BadgeGen - Brown Belt Cacher so if you find you have lots of squares completed, and have not looked at the BadgeGen site it might interest you. You can see on our profile page the badges we have accomplished.

You MAY use caches previously found.

*** Since the last US APE Cache has been archived, you may substutute Groundspeak HQ or The Original Stash for this square. ***

To document completion of this challenge, provide in your log which line of squares you are claming and how you accomplished them. You can reference you profile page, individual cache numbers, or other methods that would be appropriate based on the squares you are using. See our posted note on April 30 on documenting.

We do not want anyone who has completed this challenge to strike out on the final. If you give us notice when you are going to attempt the final, we will verify the final cache is still in place, and when possible offer to join in celebrating your accomplishment.

Before anyone asks - Yes MaxB has completed all the squares.
