This is a spectacular but difficult and long hike on the E4 long distance trail. We approached from the north on a day hike of about 6 hours. If you hike from Selakano and grab the geocache at the Asfendami Spring, it is another hour to the pass. Two of our friends also climbed Mt. Dikti which had much snow in April. Follow the E4 yellow dots and search for the poles along the way - if you don't you may get lost on the mountain. Wear rugged hiking boots and plan to stay out all day. Bring plenty of water and enjoy a lunch at the pass. The cache is placed near a huge rock outcropping that protects you from a northern wind.
