This cache is at a stile between fields of sheep and lambs. From there you have a great view of Ugborough Beacon - in fine weather (sometimes it disappears completely!). Do upload photos of the view in all seasons and weathers.
You could incorporate this cache into the excellent South Brent Trail circular walk, between SBT No.1 and No.2. The detour takes you through fields and along a quiet lane instead of a steep hill with no view - it will add about 10 minutes onto the walk.
From South Brent Trail No.1 you will need to retrace your steps (briefly) along the road to the first stile. Head up the hill through the fields to the cache. From the cache bear left to the third stile. Turn left up the lane and bear right at the bench and very soon you will meet the road to Lutton and South Brent Trail No.2.
An alternative mini circular walk is to turn right at the third stile, continue to the end of the lane and turn right. This takes you back into South Brent.
It is best to park in the village or outside the Village Hall next to the railway bridge. It is sometimes possible to park on the road close to the first stile, but please park considerately. Under no circumstances should you be tempted to bring a car up to the lane close to the cache - it is extremely narrow, with no parking/passing spaces.
The Stile Revisited is a brand new cache which replaces The Stile (which has been disabled for a few months).
It is now a small clip-lock container with room for a few small swaps. Please replace exactly as found.
