The shortest approach to this spring is from Selakano. Follow the yellow dots marking the E4 trail very carefully - or you may get lost as we did several times. Allow about 3 hours of rough hiking each way. The spring has fresh water in a spectacular setting on the slopes of Mt. Dikti at an elevation of about 1600 m. Wear sturdy boots because this is an ankle-busting hike ! If you are very strong, you make wish to continue above the spring to the pass - and maybe even climb Dikti itself. Allow 8 to 10 hours to reach Ag. Georgios.
