Geocache Description:

Welcome to The Bull's Head (Rushmore Hill, Pratts Bottom) which has stood on its present site at Pratts Bottom for over 400 years and will be the location for this Kent County Cachers' meet. Please see their website on this page for further information.

We shall be at the pub from 12 midday until 3pm and if the weather permits, we shall be in the garden at the rear.

There is a story that Dick Turpin frequented the Bull’s Head Inn at Pratts Bottom before being caught horse stealing in 1739 and hanged for his crime. He is reputed to have slept in nearby Pear tree Cottage, escaping through a tunnel now bricked up.

The Bulls Head is situated in the middle of our Green Street Green series (GSG) and it is possible to bag 50+ caches in one day. Pratts Bottom is very close to the M25 (Junction 4).

This pub has a good selection of food and ales and has a garden to the rear.

The pub itself is wheelchair friendly but because of the internal structure of the place, it is not possible to access the toilets in a wheelchair. However, Vernon, the landlord, assures me that a "carry out" service can be arranged!!

For those of you who have already done the GSG series, a new mini series of 6 caches will be published on the day plus two others
