Thank you to the many who nominated and voted for this cache as the April 2013 MnGCA Cache of the Month. We would like to share this honor with the many geocachers who created the amazing caches which comprise the series.
Note: The following caches are known to be archived, so until they are fixed, here is the information they should contain:

Parking is available near the published coordinates, though you may prefer to park elsewhere.
This series was born out of the Lunch Hour Cache-n-Dash III event, sponsored by ArcherDragoon. We won the door prize, which was a cache container. We wanted to find a way to share it with everyone, so we used it for the first cache in the series and invited anyone who wanted, to create the other caches. We are indebted to the many terrific geocachers who stepped up to the challenge and created some amazing caches and puzzles. Thank you all, very much!
The cache is located along a section of the Douglas Trail that is perfectly straight for about 2.4 miles. You will not locate the cache by its coordinates. Instead, you need to determine the coordinates for two points along the trail and the approximate distance that the cache is located from those two points.
Determining the coordinates for Points A and B:
The origin for your calculations is the published coordinates for this cache. Your calculations will give the thousandths of minutes by which the points are offset from the origin (either positive or negative).
To find the coordinates for Point A, you will need to make your accusation of the suspect, weapon, and room involved in the murder based on the evidence you found in the other caches. From the tables below, determine the value A by adding up the values associated with the suspect, weapon, and room you are accusing.

Use the following formulas to calculate the offsets in terms of thousandths of minutes. Round to the nearest whole number.
North offset = A * 0.09513
West offset = A * 0.18647
Add the results to the coordinates of the origin to determine the coordinates for Point A.
To determine the coordinates for Point B, start with the value A determined from the tables above and add to it 10 times the value of the Setup Code found in the description of one of the other caches in the series. Then use the value B instead of A in the above formulas to calculate the offsets of Point B.
Determining the distances X and Y:
You will need the Suspect, Weapon, and Room Codes found in various caches. Use the following formulas to calculate X and Y.
X = ((R + W) * (R - W + 1)) + (S * (R - W))
Y = ((R + W) * (R - W)) - (S * (R - W - 1))
The cache is located at approximately X feet from Point A and Y feet from Point B. This gives you at most two possible areas in which to search for the cache. There are gift certificates to the Northside Dairy Queen awaiting the first few finders.
If the only caches in the series you need to find before this one are archived or temporarily disabled, contact kkmk to obtain the information they contain.
