This is a micro cache located in Aldermaston recreation ground.
You will notice about 20 feet away from the cache location is the old village Gaol. This small lock-up was used up until 1865 where its last occupant lit a fire to keep himself warm and subsequently died as the fire got out of control.
Parking is available at the start of Fisherman's Lane (I do not recommend going too far down Fisherman's Lane as there are lots of big pot-holes).
