YACIHTR - Texas Sesquicentennial Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

acclanman: I'm going to lay this one to rest. I've moved to the next neighborhood over and haven't had time to keep up with the changes over here. It was fun while it lasted! Thanks for all the logs and comments!!

Geocache Description:

DO NOT DIG OR TEAR AT THE GROUND TO FIND THIS HIDE!!!
Well Hidden Bison Tube.
This cache will be HARD to find.
Stay away from the fence - it is obviously electric.

Since I enjoy hearing and reading the stories of the previous finders who bring a friend to find this cache and then spend a good amount of time relocating it themselves, I'm adding the opportunity for previous finders to gain another smilie here. You may log another smilie if you return on a different day with someone who has not found it and then have trouble refinding it yourself. When you log your new find, you must tell a bit about who you were with, your new search and how it compared to your previous one. You can do this any number of times - as long as it is always a new day with a new "victim" and you still have some sort of difficulty locating the hide.

Yet Another Cache I've Had To Replace

It is all part of cache ownership. You hide them, someone takes them and you have to replace them. I've had to replace several since I started hiding caches but, you know, it's just part of the game.

The cache container this one replaces was pretty special to me because my son had built it and we had used it in another location and then he rebuilt it and we placed it near here. The original is gone now without a trace but, like I said, that's the way it goes.

This replacement cache is completely different and has been extremely well hidden because I just don't want it to disappear. We zero out at the location every time we test the coordinates. You may know exactly what this cache is and STILL find it hard to locate. If you are looking for a quick park and grab here, you are in the wrong place.
