The 2011 Wicomico Geocache Dash Launch Event is a
free family-oriented get-together hosted by the
Wicomico County Convention and Visitors Association
and the Wicomico County Tourism Department.
Whether you are an experienced cacher or want to
know more about geocaching,
Come on out and join us for the 2011 Wicomico
Geocache Dash Launch Event!
New to the game? New to the
area?
Want to learn more about some of the parks,
museums, and historical areas located in
wonderful Wicomico County?
Come on out and join us!
This event is a great opportunity for cachers from
near and far to meet and exchange stories
And learn more about the 2011 Wicomico Geocache
Dash.
What Is The 2011 Wicomico Geocache
Dash?
The Dash is a virtual trail that takes cachers to
22 exciting locations across Wicomico
County.
The 20 land locations include museums,
parks, marinas, and historical areas.
2 Boat-Only caches will also be featured in the
Dash, so that cachers can experience some of
Wicomico's beautiful waterways.
The Dash works on a Passport system and the first
200 cachers who find
18 of the 22 caches will earn a trackable
GeoCoin!
The Dash Was Designed To Introduce People To Some
Of Wicomico County's "Treasures",
And Can Easily Be Completed In One
Day.

A free Geocaching 101 class will be
offered at 8:00am.
If attending
the class, please bring a –
Handheld GPS or a GPS-Enabled
Smartphone
Camera or Cellphone/Camera combo
