These geocaches are located along the trails of Lake Fairfax
Park. Please be respectful of the park's rules and the many
walkers, runners, and mountain bikers you may encounter.
Also keep a lookout for our wildlife neighbors: white-tailed
deer, pileated woodpeckers, grey squirrels, chipmunks, goldfinches,
blue jays, red-tailed hawks, skinks and many others. If you're
quiet, you may be more likely to spot them. Be sure to tell us
about what you saw along the way!
NOTE: To get to this geocache from NWF, you must cross a shallow
stream. It's easy crossing, but may be deeper after heavy rain.
This geocache has been placed with permission from the Fairfax
County Park Authority.
Lake Fairfax Park grounds are open every day from dawn to dusk.
