FTF – First To
Find
To some it means nothing; to others everything. The thrill of the
hunt and finding an empty log sheet can be exhilarating. Ever get
that anxious feeling? It has been awhile since that adrenaline rush
was achieved by racing out the door to chase after an FTF?
This cache encourages this behavior but in pacing patient
moderation.
I have been
fortunate to have met many fellow cachers chasing that ever elusive
FTF.
Some
geocachers like to geo-range to color a county, map, state,
or country to track where they have been? Some like to attempt to
find geo-caches in different areas and be the first to do so! Over
time, your "lebensraum" may expand, in pursuit of new caches. Once
an area is cached out, it makes it easier to chase after a new one
in the same area when initially published.
This cache is
being placed to honor those who have found at least one FTF; for 12
consecutive months.
To log this
geocache, one must first cache 12 consecutive months, finding at
least one FTF( First
To Find) 12
consecutive months in each month. Start
the count over if you fail to maintain a consecutive streak per
month. Create a public shared bookmark that notes the 12 qualifying
geocaches and state the start and stop dates in your log for this
geocache. This geocache can not count as one of the 12, but you
will need to include it in your bookmark list.
Do not sign the physical log here, until you have fulfilled the
monthly FTF challenge! My Current streak is at 20
months, now it is your turn! Found it logs that
don’t qualify will be deleted.
I have been planning this cache for awhile now. THE CACHE IS AT
THE POSTED COORDINATES. Only go there if you qualify for this
challenge.
