RenPet: Sometimes cachers have trouble with the owner of the museum although he is not the owner of the ground were the cache is placed. Other coachers are disappointed about the size of the container. So we are archiving the cache now.

Geocache Description:

On Crete Geo Cachers have sometimes to drive and to go long distances. So we were searching for a place where they have a beautiful view, a chance for a break and refreshing and (as a little special) some kind of entertainment and of cause a possibility search for a nearby cache. We found such a place on our way from Malia to the Lassithy Plateau.
Have fun there.

How to find this place with the "Museum Homo Sapiens"and the cache area?
Take the road from Malia to Krasi / Kera, direction Lassithi Plateau. Stay on the road till reaching the parking area. Here you will find the "Museum Homo Sapiens" and you can decide to go immediately for searching the cache or make a break or to visit the lovely Museum. It is not only for children interesting but we think they will love it. (see http://www.homo-sapiens-village.gr)

The Cache:
The cache area is in a few minutes distance to the parking place. We think the cache is not difficult to get. And do not forget to enjoy the view. The cache is a "Small" one (plastic container) with a logbook, pen and pen sharpener. This cache can be combined with "Metaxohori Revenge" and "Diktaion Andron"
