The church is basically 12th century with 13th century
additions.
The tower of All Saints has a bell that dates back to the 15th
century and large grey stone Norman font. The piscina which has a
canopy was made in the 13th century and an old pillar piscina can
be found close to the door. There are arcades with strong circular
pillars and decorated capitals and they are about 750 years
old.
The ceiling is beautifully decorated with roses and a lot of
gold gilding, and this with the screen was designed by Sir Ninian
Comper, who also introduced the glass in the west window.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I
would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he
can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid
duplication.
