Geocache Description:

Schwieriger Cache am Ende der Fischerwandhöhle in Redfeld/Kapfenberg. Vom Parkplatz ca. 10 Minuten Aufstieg zum Eingang. Von dort aus ca. weitere 20 Minuten zum Versteck am "Ende" der Höhle.

Difficult Cache at the end of the Fischerwand cave in Kapfenberg. From parking area hike 20 min up the hill until you reach the cave's entrance. From there again some 20min to the hiding place at the "end" of the cave.

Aufgrund meines kürzlich erwachten Interesses an Höhlen sowie am Geocaching hab ich mir gedacht ich verbinde diese beiden Interessen und lege einen Cache in einer Höhle aus. Da es mittlerweile von Drive Ins nur so wimmelt, mache ich genau das Gegenteil:

Der Cache befindet sich an einem Ende einer Höhle, welche zuvor nicht ganz einfach durchwandert werden muss. Zwischendurch gilt es doch eine recht enge Stelle zu überwinden. Der Cache an sich wird in der Höhle nicht zu schlimm versteckt sein, da es schon aufwendig genug ist überhaupt zum Cache vorzudringen.

Ich finde diese Höhle faszinierend, habe sie auch nur zufällig gefunden und dann sofort erkundet. Die Wand selbst eignet sich hervorragend als Kletterübungsgebiet mit fixen Routen der Schwierigkeitsgrade 4 aufwärts.
Ich hoffe doch dass sich jemand an den Cache heranwagt.

Als Belohnung für den Erstfinder werde ich einen Gutschein für ein Bergsportgeschäft in Bruck/Mur, welches Geocaching-Utensilien führt, reinlegen.

PS.: Bitte nehmt den Cache nur in Angriff wenn ihr euch fit fühlt und keine Angst vor Höhlen habt. Nehmt unbedingt Wasser und gutes Licht mit. Feste Schuhe und Kleidung, welche sehr schmutzig werden darf sind ebenso von Vorteil! Die Begehung der Höhle erfolgt natürlich nur auf eigene Gefahr! Wegbeschreibung in der Höhle:
Vom Eingang gehts zuerst halblinks immer dem Stromkabel entlang bis man vor einem roten Kinderbob (!) inks einen Durchgang durchgeht. Danach wieder rechtshalten. Eigentlich geht es immer eher nach rechts weiter bis zu einer sehr engen Stelle. Diese durchsteigt man in halber Höhe (siehe Bilder). Direkt danach wieder 150° nach links zurück rauf bis zur einem waagrechten Hohlraum mit einem auffäligem Stein davor. Genau dahinter liegt der Cache. Am Cache vorbei gibt es noch ein weiteres Loch welches sehr schwierig zu durchsteigen ist, dahinter aber wieder ein ordentliches Stück der Höhle verbirgt.

Due to my interest in both geocaches and caves I thought to combine those with hiding a cache in this cave. There is a lot of drive ins, so I wanted to do the opposite:

The cache lies at the apparent end of the cave which has to be hiked through hardly. There are some narrow places to do. The cache itself won’t be hidden too well, because everybody who reaches it deserves to find it easily.

The cave is quite fascinating to me because I found it by accident. Outside the cave you will find 41 routes to climb. They’re provided with permanent bolts. Difficulties from 4-5 on.
I hope somebody will find this cache.

The price for the first finder is a 10€ voucher for a shop in Bruck/Mur which sells geocaching utilities! I whish a lot of fun!

Important: Please only do this cache if you feel healthy and if you are not afraid of caves. Bring water and good light! Hiking shoes and clothes which are able to get very muddy is a good idea! Description of the path within the cave:
From the entry first follow the power cable until you reach a red bobsled (!) In front of it go down on the left hand side. Then always follow the right hand side until you reach a narrow place which you have to climb through in half height. Directly after it turn left 150° and you are at the final place. There is a horizontal whole with a stone in front of it which protects the cache container. If you pass the container you could climb a very very narrow whole which leads to even more rooms, but be careful!
