Come join us for a fun day of geocaching and socializing in the Denver Metro area!
The official event is coffee and socializing at the Starbucks REI @ Downtown (N39 45.296 W105 0.565). We'll meet and chat, on the outside patio, about all things Geocaching from 6PM-8PM while we enjoy the awesome Colorado weather. We'll also be having a free drawing for some geo-goodie and awarding prizes (see below).
On the morning of the event, some of us will be meeting to spend the day searching for "creative geocaches" placed in the surrounding area (plus anything else that strikes our fancy). If you are interested in participating in this optional activity, please meet us on the stairs of Congress Park at N 39° 43.794 W 104° 57.482 from 9:00 - 9:30AM.
We'll be providing the participants with "voting sheets" (one per Geonick) so that these creative finds can be scored based on their "location", "creativity", "engineering", etc.
The "Most Creative Geocache" with the highest number of votes will be announced at the evening Meet and Greet where the cache owner will be presented with prizes (see below)
In your "Will Attend", please indicate how many in your party will be attending the coffee function, the day of caching or both.
(If you'd like to hide a creative cache in time for the event, it's not too late. Contact the CO for more information.)

PRIZES (To be awarded at the evening event):
* MOST CREATIVE GEOCACHE (based on participant voting) - The winner will receive a special trophy, a golden ammo can geocoin and a $25 gift card to REI. The runner up will receive a shiny new geocoin!
* A geocoin will be awarded for the cacher wearing the MOST "CREATIVE" OUTFIT at the evening coffee event -Dress to impress!
* 2 Geocoins will be awarded to randomly-selected cachers/teams that turn in a completed voting sheet at the evening event!
* 1 Geocoin will be given away to a randomly-selected attendee!
