Eine Kombination aus Gedulds- oder Mathematikrätsel (je nach
Herangehensweise) und klassischem Informations-Suchrätsel. Der
Cache befindet sich in Wien, aber nicht bei den Headerkoordinaten.
/ A combination of puzzle game and information retrieval challenge.
The cache is located in Vienna, but not at the header coordinates.
Hausübung Stage eins / Homework stage one
Finde heraus, wie du aus den fünf Teilen in diesem Bild einen
Würfel zusammensetzen kannst. / Figure out how to construct a
regular cube from these parts.
Hausübung Stage zwei
Er war vielseitig begabt und konnte deshalb - angeblich
angeregt von einer Vorlesung über Quantenmechanik von Werner
Heisenberg am 11. Dezember 19AA - ein Rätsel erfinden, das
bis heute vielen vergnügliches Kopfzerbrechen bereitet.
Die Summe der Buchstabenwerte (a=1, b=2, ...) des ersten Wortes des
(englischen) Namens dieses Puzzles minus die Zahl der Puzzle-Teile
ergibt BC. Die ersten zwei Ziffern der Anzahl der Lösungen
des Rätsels ergeben XY.
Er hat auch kurze Gedichte verfasst. Die Anzahl der Vokale in einem
dieser Gedichte über Probleme (englisch, ohne allfälligen Titel,
ohne "y") ist K.
Identifiziere ein dreidimensionales geometrisches Objekt, das er
einigermaßen berühmt gemacht hat. (Dieses Objekt hat mit dem
vorgenannten Rätsel nichts zu tun!) Der Krümmungswert der schmalen
Enden dieses Objekts sei Z, die Masse des größten solchen
Objekts (eine Ziffer) sei M.
N ist die Zahl aller seiner Frauen und Kinder.
Homework stage two
He was gifted in several ways and thus could, presumably
during a lecture of Werner Heisenberg on quantum mechanics on Dec
11, 19AA, construct a puzzle that until today is giving many
people a great hard time.
The sum of the letters (a=1, b=2, ...) of the first word of the
puzzle name minus the number of puzzle pieces gives you BC.
The first two digits of the number of distinct solutions to this
puzzle give XY.
He was also a poet. The number of vovels in one of his short poems
on problems (english version, title and "y"s not counted) gives
K.
Identify the three-dimensional geometric object made popular by
him. (This object is not related to the aforementioned riddle!) Let
the curvature value of this object's small ends be Z and the
mass of the largest specimen of this object (single digit) be
M.
N is the number of wives and children he had.

Hier drin holst du dir (bitte im Stealth-Mode) einen
"small"-Container, der die hier gezeigten Teile enthält. Echte
Handarbeit :-)
Du solltest die Lösung von Teil Eins schon kennen, bevor du hier
herkommst, weil es gar nicht nett wäre, diese Teile für längere
Zeit in Richtung Kaffeehaus oder gar nach Hause zu entführen und
das Rätsel für andere unlösbar zu machen. Mehrere Testpersonen
haben gezeigt, dass diese Aufgabe für durchaus intelligente
Normalbürger nicht "mal eben schnell" zu lösen ist.
Kraftanwendung ist nicht zur Lösung notwendig - wenn
irgendwas nicht reinpasst, dann stimmt es so nicht. Sollte sich
trotzdem eines der Teile auflösen, bitte gib alle Bruchstücke in
die Dose und schreib dem Owner, damit ich das Ding asap reparieren
kann. Bitte nicht selbst wieder zusammenkleben - das Rätsel kann
dadurch unlösbar werden.
Nach dem erfolgreichen Zusammensetzen findest du auf der Oberfläche
des Würfels zwei dreistellige Zahlen N und E, N ist
die größere der beiden. (Viele andere Zahlen sind auch darauf zu
sehen, aber nur zwei dreistellige Zahlen sind dann korrekt lesbar
angeordnet.)

Inside, grab (stealthily, of course!) a "small" container
containing the cube parts shown here, completely handmade :-)
You should come here only when you know the solution to round one.
It wouldn't be very nice to remove these parts from that place for
a longer time. Tests have indicated that most people won't be able
to solve this on the fly.
Force is not necessary to put this together; if it doesn't
fit, then it's not in the right place. If any of the parts break,
just put all pieces into the box and write to the owner for
immediate maintenance. Do not attempt to glue broken pieces
together yourself.
After successfully combining the parts to a cube, you will be able
to find two three-digit numbers N and E on its
surface, N being the larger one. (There are many other digits, but
only two three-digit numbers will be correctly aligned.)

replacing all parts properly, on to the cache at
