Geocache Description:

WHEN: Saturday August 20th, 2011
WHERE: Hidden Valley Sports Complex, Blue Springs, MO
TIME: 3:00PM to 10:00PM
EAT: Around 5:00PM

Don't miss this annual fun filled event.

How can YOU participate??

Bring yourself, your family, and your new caching friends.
Bring a side dish to share with others.
(Meat entree will be provided. Fried chicken is back by popular demand.)
Bring a lawn chair and a table (if you have one).
Bring your caching stories (true and false) and hints to share.

Activities:

Silent Auction - If you have that special item you would like to donate. A decorated, ready to go cache container would be one option. Bidding will start at 4:00 PM and close by 4:45 just before it's time to eat. There will be 3 auction categories: Coins, Cache Containers and Miscellaneous Items
New this year - Picnic pathtags.
There are promises of new permanent caches in the area.
Pin the tail on the geocache.
There will be caches for the little ones around the picnic area.
Meet your fellow cachers with an interesting ice breaker to find the picnic basket.
Drawings for door prizes.

T-Shirts:

The t-shirt design is in and the shirts will be available for the picnic.
Available Sizes: Youth XS 6/8, S 10/12, M 14/16, L 18/20 Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL.
To place your orders please send an email to mogeo.picnic@gmail.com.
Please have your orders in by August 5th. Pick up and payment will be on picnic day.
The prices are as follows: sizes up to XL will be $10.00 and 2XL - 4XL will be $12.00.
Any shirts ordered the day of the picnic will cost an additional $3.00 to cover postage. This years design looks like THIS

(Proceeds from the above will be used to offset the cost of the picnic.)

We are anxious to hear any ideas you might have for more activies.

Please post a will attend log. You can optionally note what you will be bringing to eat. For those new to our caching community, please list your first names along with caching name so we can make personalized name tags. This also gives us a head start on attendance number so we know how much meat to provide.

Be sure to attend the Breakfast in the Corral V at 10:00 AM and the Phoon (First International Geocaching Day) at 1:00 PM and make it a whole day of geocaching fun !

A special thanks to the Blue Springs Parks and Recreation for allowing us to use this venue and for being so geocaching friendly.
