Geocache Description:

This cache is the finish line for the Great Lakes Council (BSA) for the first ever 2011 Race to Indy 500 Travel Bug Race. We are asking scouts, packs and troops to race pinewood derby cars with travel bugs attached to see if we can get any cars to the cache in approx 1.5 months.

We appreciate all the help we can get from Indiana cachers!!!

Remember to sign the Log!!!!

The Great Lakes Council will be displaying the cars on race day, (May 29th 2011).

This cache is accessible 24/7, please be aware of mugglers and the grass areas around hiding area, please if you see trash lying around please pick-up and dispose of properly.

Property owners are aware of cache and it's purpose and granted us 100% participation.

If you see travel bugs attached to Pinewood Derby cars please leave them in the cache prior to May 29th so we can display them on race day, after May 29th feel free to move them per the instructions on each car.
***Note (I made arrangements with the property owner to remove the Pinewood Derby Cars & Travel Bugs once a week prior to race day).
